Job Description Summary
Inhabit is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our growing
information security team. In this role you will be responsible for
keeping all of our internal and customer facing systems secure and
in compliance with the regulations applicable to each system.As we
grow, you will have the opportunity to build a high-performing team
of information security engineers across multiple domains including
application security, systems security, threat detection and
response, regulation compliance, security education.
What Youll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Work with the rest of the organization to prepare to
effectively identify and respond to an attack on our
systems.
- Develop and promote best practices for building and maintaining
secure distributed systems, with a keen focus on vulnerability
prevention and detection as well as promoting a culture of Security
by Design.
- Be responsible for advancing our current change processes and
technologies which will help us effectively prevent the
introduction of security vulnerabilities to our any of our
systems.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on products,
services, protocols, and standards necessary to keep our systems
secure and compliant in a constantly evolving regulated environment
facing a growing number of threats.
- Oversee the annual planning and execution of all Cybersecurity
certification and compliance programs, including PCI-DSS and SSAE18
SOC 2 and others for our 30+ product portfolio.
- Establish and maintain corporate information security policies,
standards, and procedures in alignment with senior
leadership.
- With our HR and Risk and Compliance teams to develop effective
security education and awareness training programs
- Build positive, trusting relationships across the organization
through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective
communication.
What Were Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Highly adept at working with teams of varying abilities in a
cooperative, supportive manner.
- Ability to execute with agility demonstrating flexibility and
speed to keep up with the fast pace of our rapidly growing
organization.
- Inclined to take initiative to identify and address problems as
they are discovered.
- Ability to develop teams that pursue excellence in what they
do.
- Bring a positive attitude to work and be positive influence on
your teams and those you work with.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance and
IT operations.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud
environments.
- Ability to understand, prioritize and risk rank different
initiatives as needed by our complex multi-product
organization
- Direct experience with SSAE 16 SOC 2, ISO27001, PCI-DSS or
other regulatory compliance frameworks, including, crafting of
policies, implementation of systems and processes, ongoing
compliance assessment, and execution of annual audits.
- Working knowledge of a variety of Information Security tools
and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others, manage key deadlines
and escalate issues timely.
- Knowledge of cutting-edge threats and technologies effecting
Web Application vulnerabilities and recent internet
threats.
- A good understanding of security, web-based and infrastructure
vulnerabilities is required.
- Demonstrated familiarity and experience with incident handling
techniques and processes
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in MIS, technical discipline or equivalent
experience
- Professional certification(s) preferred such as Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified
Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information
Security Manager (CISM) preferred.
