  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.

    • ALL TRAVELERS MUST LIVE 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY

      • Floating to other units required
      • Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.

        • Include in the confirmation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation.
        • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
