TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Knoxville, Tennessee, 37920 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid license required prior to submission Certifications: ACLS, Stroke Must-Have: - Experience with tracheostomies is preferred. Job Description: - Provide care for intense step-down patients. - Patient to nurse ratio is 1:4. - Open to first-time candidates. - Weekend work is required every other weekend or equivalent. - On-call duty is not required. - Primarily unit-based but may float within scope to meet facility needs. - Willingness to work a block schedule if needed. - Must work at least one holiday during the assignment; holiday preference can be discussed with the Nurse Manager but is not guaranteed. - Compliance document deadline is Wednesday prior to the start date. - Modules are non-billable, with an average of 2-4 hours (5 hours max) factored in or completed during orientation and annually. - Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Please note that locals within 25 miles are accepted, and pending licenses are not accepted.
