  • TN License
  • 1 year of experience
  • Community hospital experience required
  • BSN
  • AHA BLS
  • NIHSS preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferredOther Details:
    • Floating to other units required
    • First time travelers accepted
    • All travelers must have live 100 miles from the facility
    • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only-----8 Week Assignment--- 36 or 48 hour weeks OK--- No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day--- Floating RequiredAHA BLS Required, NIHSS preferredEvery other weekendNo CallFloating to other units requiredGeneral orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. I can start the traveler any Sunday that you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.Please include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (use whichever is appropriate for the employment agreement) if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
