Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Labor Experience Required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Cerner Experience Job Description: - Participate in the orientation program which takes place bi-weekly. - Provide care in a multifunctional facility, housing various specialized centers including a Brain, Cancer, Heart, and Women's Center. - Handle responsibilities in an environment with a 355-bed capacity and specialized units, including a Level 3 NICU and a 32-bed Emergency Department. - Work primarily within an 8-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit, ensuring adherence to the AWHONN standards for patient ratios. - Potentially float between units as needed to provide support as helping hands - Manage GYN patients in addition to labor and delivery patients. - Embody an easy-going, committed, and positive demeanor to foster a collaborative team environment. - Dress code: Navy for C-sections supplied by the hospital, with no unacceptable attire specified. - Adhere to standard patient care protocols, including fetal monitoring and patient observation, using Cerner EHR systems.
