  • 36/48 schedule
  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. I can start the traveler any Sunday that you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.
  • Please include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.
  • Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.
  • Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
    • Job Requirements
    • AHA BLS - Basic Life Support (Required for any candidate with patient contact)
    • AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
    • NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (Required)
    • State License Verification (Required)
    • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) (Required)
    • Education Verification (Required)
    • Background Check (Required within 30 days of start)
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM (Required within 30 days of start)
    • HHS/OIG (Required within 30 days of start)
    • References (Ballad Health will accept 2 references, but prefer 3)
    • Skills Checklist 1 (Required)
    • TN Abuse Registry (Required if candidate is licensed or certified in TN or will be working at a TN facility)
      • Schedule Information
      • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospital's service area.

          • Check Unit Description to verify certifications required. AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI accepted
          • TIME SENSITIVE - Must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract.
