Position Responsibilities As a Cath Lab Tech, you will operate under physician supervision and play an essential role in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include: Operating X-ray equipment and assisting with radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration. Performing as a surgical scrub assistant during procedures. Preparing patients for procedures, including medical history reviews, patient positioning, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites. Monitoring patients pre- and post-procedure, reporting any abnormal findings to the care team. Assisting with Specimen Processing, Urine Testing, Blood Cultures, and Capillary Puncture as needed. Setting up and maintaining lab equipment, supplies, and ensuring smooth room turnovers. Requirements ASCP Certification preferred. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab or related specialty. Experience in Clinical Laboratory Operations, Patient Transport, and Specimen Processing a plus. Additional Details Type: Travel contract (hourly rate includes housing and meal stipends) Shift: Days Applicants within 60 miles of the facility are considered locals and not eligible for stipends.
