Job DescriptionJob SummaryTransports patients, specimens, and equipment throughout the facility. COMPANY DESCRIPTIONFrye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. Essential Functions

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required Licenses/Certifications
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
