CRA's Knoxville, Tennessee office seeks applications for a large
linear archaeological survey in multiple East Tennessee Counties.
The project is currently in progress. Archaeological technicians
with regional (i.e. Southeast) experience is preferred. Experience
in Tennessee is desirable. The qualified candidate must have a
bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a minimum of 6 months of
experience conducting archaeological survey. Candidate should have
completed an archaeological field school. It is imperative that the
candidate be able to work 10 hour days (or longer if necessary) in
a variety of conditions. Stooping, bending, lifting, and walking
treacherous terrain are essential functions of this position.
Compensation is $18.00-$19.00 per hour. Per diem will be $50 per
day with single lodging provided. The work schedule will consist of
six 10-hour days Monday-Saturday with Sundays off. All overtime
hours will be paid at time and a half. Per diem and lodging is also
provided on Sundays. The project is anticipated to last several
months.
Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. employees are required to undergo
a background check that includes driving history. This project will
require a standard 5 Panel drug test for all employees prior to
fieldwork. The cost of drug testing will be paid by CRA. In
addition, all employees must present documentation proving that
they are FULLY VACCINATED for COVID-19.
