Job Description:
A company is looking for a Design Engineer - Studies
specializing in Power Plant Controller Modeling.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Plant SCADA team to understand and maintain
custom plant controller models
Conduct dynamic simulations to test plant performance and tune
parameters to meet regional requirements
Engage with clients and system operators to incorporate feedback
and improve model performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited
program
Minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year in
power systems
Experience with steady-state and/or dynamic analysis using PSS E or
PSCAD is preferred
Familiarity with control block diagrams and programming
Willingness to learn new software and programming languages
independently
