Job Overview

Exploria Resorts is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort facilities. Your primary focus will be on performing guest room and public area maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks. You will also be responsible for checking guest room electrical appliances, providing guest room service/repair status to the front desk, and completing hotel room and building repairs. Additionally, you will respond to guest questions, complaints, or requests in a timely and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform guest room and public area maintenance and repairs
- Check guest room electrical appliances and make repairs as needed
- Provide guest room service/repair status to the front desk
- Complete hotel room and building repairs, including replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and painting
- Perform repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen, and other hotel property
- Respond to guest questions, complaints, or requests in a timely and courteous manner

Requirements

- Minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge (preferred)
- Attention to detail

Physical Demands

- Standing for a prolonged period
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
